The Canterbury Youth Workers Collective (CYWC) has a Code of Ethics (CoE), which Youth Workers agree to abide by when becoming a member of the Collective. CYWC promotes the importance of having a Code of Ethics for Youth Workers and provides training on the CYWC CoE that is open to all youth workers, or people interested in working with young people. Each participant in the one day Code of Ethics Training sessions receives a certificate, an ethics pack and useful information about ethics that will benefit their youth work.
All Youth Workers who wish to become CYWC members need to participate in a one day CoE Training session.
