Hannah Dunlop

Kia ora I'm Hannah and have worked in the youth sector as a youth worker, facilitator and researcher for 15 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts and Post Graduate in Public Health. My passion for young people started when I was a 24-7 youth worker for 6 years. Following this I took on roles working as consultant, youth development and education leads in local government, and NZ Red Cross.

I am now working as a consultant with a focus on youth development in the areas of research, training, practice improvement and advocacy. I hold a number of governance roles including: Vice President YMCA Christchurch; Director YMCA NZ board; Vice President for the Asia Pacific Alliance of YMCAs. I've been on the CYWC collective board since 2012 and have always loved being part of this kaupapa and wider youth work whanau as I am passionate about supporting youth workers in their practice.

I always tell others that CYWC is where I have found my people.

I live by the beach in New Brighton in a 100 year old cottage with a husband and a cat and we will be joined soon by our pēpē due in June 2020.
