Kia ora, Its an honour to be a Collective board member helping our where I can, and meeting many of our collective members along the way.
I have been working in the youth sector for a number of years. I started working at Hillmorton High School as a 24-7Youth worker in 2000 while studying towards a bachelor of outdoor education and adventure recreation. I worked as a youth worker for a number of years and became a youth pastor at Southwest Baptist Church over that time as well.
In 2011 I returned to study at UC and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in secondary Teaching then spent a few years working as a teacher. Currently I am the 24-7YW Waitaha (Canterbury) regional coordinator, working alongside our team of around 70 youth workers based in 32 teams at 32 schools across the wider Canterbury region which have 24-7YW operating.
