Michelle McConnell

Kia ora, I'm Michelle and I'm the Coordinator for Rerenga Awa.
I’ve spent many years working with young people in schools and community settings, and I still think working with rangatahi is the best job out there. My background includes youth work, teaching, training, and coordination, all centered on supporting young people and the youth workers who walk alongside them.
I also have a love for photography, which often sneaks into my projects and teaching so I’m hoping to use this to capture and share some of the awesome mahi happening every day in youth work across Waitaha.
I’m excited to help keep youth work in Waitaha connected and supported.
