Nearly 40 years working with young people and their families. Have completed varies training's, including through Youth Alive and Mana Ake. Pastoral Counselling Course. Level 1 and 2 Te Reo Māori. 

I've been married since 1989 and we have four adult children and to date three wonderful grandchildren, family is extremely important to me. I’ve been involved working with young people since my teenage years, both as a volunteer and a staff member, in community work and in church youth groups. 

Employed by Youth Alive Trust since 2012. Six years as Programs Manager, hands on supporting, training and enabling staff and volunteers to run after school clubs, holiday programs and OSCAR care, while actively mentoring. 18 months as a Kaimahi with Mana Ake working for the wellbeing of school children including with their families. 

Currently, mentoring support for those affected by suicide, OSCAR after school and Holiday Programs, a leader at GVY Beach Campus and a Camp Parent at Easter Camp. I am passionate about helping people develop and move towards their potential, and to get a healthy perspective to bring balance in all areas of their life.
