I have been involved working in the youth sector for almost 20 years in School teaching, faith based YW and from a non faith based perspective. In 2000 I was a 24-7 youth worker at Hillmorton High School as a part of South West Baptist Church (SWBC) 24-7Youth work team, during this time I was studying towards a bachelor of outdoor education and adventure recreation. I became a Youth pastor at SWBC also the 24-7YW team leader at Hillmorton, which required the leading our volunteer youth leadership team. Following this I worked for Canterbury youth services as an events coordinator helping run Eastercamp. In 2011 I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and learning (secondary) at UC. I then spent a few years working as a secondary school teacher. At the begining of 2015 I became the 24-7YW Canterbury regional coordinator, working alongside the 32 schools across the Canterbury region which have 24-7YW.
