Amanda Murray

Amanda started youth working many years ago in a couple of local youth organisations doing fundraising and learning the tough realities of raising money for youth work. Having been involved in local govt, commercial organisations and running her own business it was a good learning curve and she was fortunate enough to be involved with setting up a local youth development organisation a decade ago and had the pleasure of meeting and working with some amazing people doing a variety of youth work over many ages and stages.

During that time she also got more involved in event organising and local youth networks.

Several years ago she moved into the Social Sector with Residential work and now have the privilege of working for Odyssey House in the Youth Services.

Over the past decade she has also become a member of Korowai Tupu and takes any opportunity to upskill and learn more about the sector she works in.
