Every year, our amazing Collective members volunteer to work at public events in Christchurch like Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park New Brighton Fireworks, and ASB Classical Sparks.
These events are a great opportunity for Youth Workers to make new connections, learn from others and develop their skills.  
During the events, Youth Workers divide into teams and engage with young people to ensure they are safe. If a young person is in an unsafe situation, including being intoxicated or in danger, we run a tent staffed by Youth Workers which provides a safe place for young people to go.
