Kia ora, my name is Michelle, I have been part of the Youth & Cultural Development Whanau now for 3 years and feel privileged to be part of such a devoted group of professionals who all share the same passion: Young People and supporting them to discover their strengths, an identity, learn from their mistakes, develop new skills & encourage them to make positive choices in order to succeed in anything they may want to do.
I am one of two Transition to Independence kaimahi as well as Quality Assurance Lead here at YCD. I have a diploma in Child Protection & am currently in the final stages of achieving my Level 4 Certificate in Youth Work.
