Sarah Millar

Kia Ora! I'm Sarah and I am the Youth Work Manager at the Linwood based youth trust, Kāwai Rangatahi.

When I left school I had no idea what I wanted to do so started doing various youth related roles for a gap year... the gap year turned into a decade of working with rangatahi here in Te Waipounamu as well as in the Cook Islands and most recently the UK. I absolutely love working with rangatahi, journeying with them through their teen years, watching them grow and develop, and championing them through all the highs and lows that teenage years throw their way.

It is a privilege to serve on the Rerenga Awa board, bringing the knowledge and experiences I have had in the youth sector to support the amazing mahi that is being done in our region.
