Kia ora,

I started working in the social services sector in 1998 and very quickly developed a passion for supporting young people.

I have an extensive background in youth work - both with 1-1 mentoring and education, plus designing and delivering group programmes.

I was an Assessor and Team Leader for a few years and am currently Co-Chair of Pou Manaaki Taiohi o Aotearoa | Scope Aotearoa Charitable Trust.

I am Rainbow and I'm currently part of a small working group in my current mahi to support improvements in our organisation for LGBTQIA+ kaimahi, tangata whai ora, and manuhiri.

I also have experience working in community health. My current job title is Kaiwhakamana | Lead Health Navigator. I am People Leader for some of our team and the other part of my role involves supporting people who are receiving a Work and Income benefit with a medical deferral towards meaningful employment. I also co-deliver employment workshops.

I have been one of the Champion Trainers with the Youth Champions Project - delivering training on Positive Youth Development Aotearoa.

My passion is supporting the development of others.
