Nate Loong

Nate started as a youth worker with 24-7 Youthwork in 2017, of which he is now in the role as the Canterbury Regional Coordinator, where he gets to support and empower youth workers in local communities across the region. Alongside his years working in a local high school, Nate has also had experience leading a youth group, managing a local trust, as well as time as a support worker for foster children.

Over the years Nate has discovered and developed a passion for seeing leadership grow in the youth sector which has led him to become a Gallup Strengths Coach and part of why he wants to be on this board. He is passionate about seeing people - especially our youth workers, discover their purpose, grow in their skills and character to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
