Bronwyn Pagey

I am a Registered Nurse with 20 years’ experience working in the l Health sector, both in NGO and DHB services. I developed the role of youth AOD worker/service in North Canterbury. Within the DHB I have worked at the CADS service and 8 years at Youth Speciality Service in the AOD Team. I have worked in the primary sector as a Public Health Nurse, as well as clinical tutoring at CPIT School of Nursing. 

I am currently working as part-time Project Manager in workforce development for the Werry Workforce in Christchurch. I also offer professional supervision and AOD screening and counselling. I am a DAPPANZ registered Clinical Supervisor. I trained as a Clinical Supervisor 10 years ago and have provided clinical supervision in both Mental Health and Primary Services. 

My past clinical practice has given me a comprehensive understanding of the needs of clinician’s and the challenges they experience, in a variety of settings. I understand the pressures and expectations on people working in the caring profession. I encourage reflective practice and a healthy work/life balance.
